The Bible Hour:

cnbw-cropThe Bible Hour is an Adult Bible Fellowship Class offered weekly at First Family Church in Overland Park, Kansas. 

The Purpose Statement of The Bible Hour is, “Where the Church Becomes a Family”. 

It is the goal of our Sunday School class to introduce the members and attenders of First Family Church to one another in a setting that fosters meaningful relationships and friendships all the while providing in-depth Biblical Teaching with heavy life application. 

Class members sit around round tables and interact the first part of every class while enjoying refreshments provided by the members of our class. 

 

 

We then open the Word of God and study verse by verse with Pastor Christian Newsome, the Senior Associate/Teaching Pastor of First Family Church who serves as our weekly teacher. 

The Bible Hour is open to all adults, both Married and Single, and is offered at both the 8:00 a.m. and 10:45 Sunday School hours at First Family Church every Sunday morning. 

The Bible Hour began meeting as a class in the Fall of 2006 with 50 Sunday School class members and currently has nearly 200 adults that attend each Sunday.
